Slovenia's national broadcasting network RTV Slovenija has announced it will not air this year’s Eurovision Song Contest 2026, and will replace the TV slots with a special programme titled "Glasovi Palestine" (Voices of Palestine).
The programme includes documentaries and feature films that focuses on Palestine, such as Gaza Twins, Come Back to Me, No Other Land, The Voice of Hind Rajab, and The Teacher.
There will also be special episode that will focus on the current debate surrounding the Eurovision Song Contest, exploring topics such as the role of politics in the contest, ethical dilemmas for participating broadcasters, discussions around the voting system, and viewpoints from those against and in favour of boycotting Eurovision.
RTV Slovenija is among five broadcasters that decided not to send a performer for this year’s contest in Vienna, in protest of the EBU's decision to include Israel's participation in the wake of the Gaza genocide.
The other countries boycotting this year's Eurovision include Spain, Ireland, The Netherlands and Iceland.
